[yellow tail] wines and award-winning mixologist Trudy Thomas have collaborated on a collection of easy-to-make cocktails using wine as a major flavor component.

Floral Temptation

2 ounces Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine
1 ounce vanilla flavored vodka
1/2 of a lime, pressed
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 ounce rose nectar

Directions ~

In a cocktail shaker with ice add all ingredients except Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine. Strain into a chilled martini glass or champagne flute slowly fill with the Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine. Garnish with a vanilla sugar rim and edible flower (optional) or strawberry.

Pomegranate Peach
[yellow tail] Pomegranate Peach

1 ounce [yellow tail] Sparkling Rosé Wine
1 ounce peach flavored vodka
1 ounce pomegranate liqueur
2 ounce fresh lemonade

Shake all ingredients except [yellow tail] Sparkling Rosé Wine in a martini shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini or Collins glass. Top with [yellow tail] Sparkling Rosé Wine. Garnish with fresh blueberries.

Shiratini (not pictured)

1-1/2 ounce [yellow tail] Shiraz
1 ounce blueberry-flavored vodka
1/2 ounce orange liqueur
1/2 ounce acai syrup (or pomegranate juice)
1/2 fresh lime, pressed

In a mixing glass add all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

Blueberry Watermelon

1 ounce Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine
1 ½ ounce blueberry flavored vodka
1 ounce watermelon syrup
2 ounces fresh lemonade

Directions ~

Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini or collins glass with ice. Top with Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine and garnish with fresh blueberries.

Lemon Myrtle (not pictured)

2 ounces Yellow Tail Chardonnay
1 ounce limoncello
1/2 ounce mojito mint syrup
1/2 ounce orange liqueur
1 ounce sour mix

Directions ~
[yellow tail] Orchard Temptation

Shake and strain into a martini glass rimmed in sugar. Garnish with a lemon wheel. Note: Could also be served on the rocks in a wine glass rimmed in sugar.

Orchard Temptation

2 ounces Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine
1 ounce pear flavored vodka
1 ounce apple juice
1 ounce vanilla syrup

Directions ~

In a cocktail shaker with ice add all ingredients except Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine. Strain into a chilled champagne flute or martini glass. Slowly fill with the Yellow Tail Sparkling Wine. Garnish with a pear slice or mint sprig.
